About the Center

The Center for Research to Evaluate and Eliminate Dental Disparities (CREEDD) was created in 2001 with joint funding from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and the National Center on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NCMHD). CREEDD is one of five national centers for oral health disparities. The funding for these centers is the single largest expenditure in the history of NIDCR. This represents a firm national commitment to reduce dental disparities across the nation.
